Acacia redolens 'Low Boy'
USDA Hardiness Zone Range:
9 to 11
Native to western Australia, the Spreading Acacia is the hardiest groundcover we offer. A single plant can easily spread to 15 feet wide, about 2 feet tall. Little maintenance is required if planted in a large area where it has room to grow. Subtle yellow flowers adorn the branches in late winter, fruit is inconspicuous. Some additional irrigation is required during the driest months to maintain plant health. Heat loving and cold tolerant, the Spreading Acacia is a durable groundcover option for any landscape.
