Rosemary is an aromatic evergreen shrub with a long, rich history of use in food, medicine, and folklore in almost all parts of the world. This Mediterranean plant tolerates very dry conditions, frequent pruning or shearing, reflected heat, and full sun. Arp Rosemary is an upright and exceptionally cold hardy variety, forming an attractive mound of silvery-green, lance-shaped foliage. Flowering begins in spring, when spikes of highly fragrant lovely blue blossoms rise above the foliage, attracting both birds and hummingbirds. The flowers and foliage can be dried and used in scented sachets or potpourri.
