Blanket flower is a cold hardy herbaceous perennial with extraordinary flower power. Found naturally across North America, some sources claim that the common name refers to its habit of covering meadows with solid blankets of color. Of the many cultivars available, Arizona Sun is the most popular. This heat-loving hybrid forms a small mound and blooms prolifically from early spring through early fall. Its large flowers have orange-red petals with brilliant yellow edges, and their flat centers are perfect landing pads for hungry butterflies. Fill your planters, borders, walkways and vases with rabbit and deer resistant color!
