Lantana is a wildly popular landscape perennial in the Southwest for good reason: they are drought, heat, and cold tolerant, all while being very low maintenance. New Gold one of the more compact Lantanas, growing slightly taller than the trailing varieties, but not as wide. Spring through fall, this lush perennial is covered in small clusters of golden flowers, attracting butterflies and occasional hummingbirds. ‘New Gold’ is preferred for its seedless nature, longer and more prolific blooming season and superior cold tolerance.
