Rosemary is an aromatic evergreen shrub with a long, rich history of use in food, medicine, and folklore in almost all parts of the world. This Mediterranean plant tolerates very dry conditions, frequent pruning or shearing, reflected heat, and full sun. Hill Hardy is an upright rosemary variety, sporting deep green, needle-like foliage that is covered in light blue flowers from early spring through summer. The flowers are a favorite of both hummingbirds and butterflies. Hill Hardy is prized for being one of the toughest selections available, tolerating temperatures below 0°F.
