Tecoma 'Red Hot' PP31610

Red Hot Tecoma; Red Hot Esparanza

The Red Hot Tecoma was hand selected by our horticulturists for its quality, form and health. This new selection boasts a unique color, compact habit and improved drought tolerance. Lightly fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers emerge deep crimson red, maturing to fiery, orange red with yellow centers. They’ll brighten up your landscape from early spring to late fall, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden. They’re nearly seedless so they can be planted in poolside containers with no mess. This selection is more drought tolerant and has better cold hardiness than the species. They are moderately deer and rabbit resistant and have no serious pest or disease problems. Deadhead flowers to prolong bloom and prune after flowering as needed.
